Wheat and weeds grow side by side.

My reading this morning was this:

Matt 13:24-30

The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares

24 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; 25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. 26 But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. 27 So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ 28 He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’ 29 But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them.30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.” ’ ”

The weeds were allowed to grow up right beside the wheat. Good and evil existing side by side. And the farmer knew about it all along, and chose to let the weed be there, so that the wheat would grow and mature.

The wheat learned to mature and grow in the presence of its enemy. To remove the weed too soon, would have destroyed the wheat. For God to have removed your enemies would have destroyed you also. How? well I don't know. But God knows how, and who, and the benefit outweighed the cost (your life).

Walking with God is learning to trust Him and what he says. This is impossible without relationship. During the building of a relationship/friendship with someone you learn about them and trust builds.

Same. with. God.

Your relationship with God is build on trust.

I know this is just talking into the wind with the some of the christians, but i also know that God has his remnant that have their ear to His heart. They chase after God and only go where He goes.

To those I say ..... Be strong because the day comes when the weed will be pulled out and you will transition into a new season, a harvest season.

Stay the course, your harvest is coming. :)
